this is a photo of the caved in lava tube area up at the higher elevation land.
the oval shaped sunken courtyard area is a caved in lava tube. the caves extend
in both directions at either end of the sunken oval. in the center is a ceremonial lodge
built of stone with a grass roof. to the right of the hut is a landscaped sunken courtyard.
to the left of the hut is an unfinished area soon to be leveled and made into a
sunken greenhouse area.
